Can I directly load MAE model to train vit?

hello,
Can I directly load MAE model to train vit? I'd like to use MAE to do the self supervised learning, and I want to use the model to finetune in imagenet, MAE I use the facebook offcial code, than I use load_checkpoint, and set the strict=False to load the parameter.
but I found the effect is worse, I don't know if i can't directly use load_checkpoint?
