Low commits can be a sign of project stability, not necessarily making it "dead"

But a high number of open issues (even important ones) not addressed is not a good sign

Just because no one (from a company that makes money selling support licenses) doesn't respond, doesn't mean that the project is dead.

There has been 1 commit in the last 13 months!
Sorry, but a project without an active community is dead to anyone caring for a serious long-term use.
