homebridge-dacp not working: dns service error: unknown

I am trying to get homebridge-dacp to run, but I end up always with the same error.
I used: latest / no-avahi, debian-no-avahi (Avahi causes problems)
DS918+ (tried: host network and macvlan)

You can't use the no-avahi images with homebridge-dacp as it still depends on the mdns package (which Homebridge moved away from).

I'll leave this one for the plugin author: grover/homebridge-dacp#63
