В теории урока JavaScript: Бесконечность (Infinity) упоминается "объяснение на Хекслете", но не предоставлено ссылки на него.

Однако есть несколько примеров, где бесконечность нужна. Подробнее этот вопрос рассматривается на Хекслете.
