I work on an small project for PID 1 and process supervision and created an example for hug :-)

So maybe after first release can you take a look if virgil-rs can replace by pebble because virgild allows custom signal sending and returns the real process exit code instead of 0/10.

We’ll take a look—thanks to @git001 for sharing this! After years of working with s6-overlay, we’re gradually transitioning to more K8s and container-friendly alternatives (related to our KIC, HUG and HAProxy CE/EE images with Data Plane API that are or were using s6-overlay).

I'm testing few other things, including something that was developed inhouse.
for virgil-rs, licence could be an issue since I kind of prefer having same system everywhere, also in enterprise.

• we still haven't moved from s6 in Ingress controller and now it seems like a good opportunity to use same system everywhere (easier said that done though)
