Restores the pre-force-push main history without force-pushing.\n\nThis branch is a merge commit with:\n- first parent: current forced main (92fa3bd)\n- second parent: preserved pre-force main tip (374859b)\n- tree: preserved pre-force main tip\n\nMerging this PR makes the old main history reachable again while respecting branch protection. The 1.3 cleanup work is preserved separately on release/1.3-cleanup-pr.
