Is that true that the model_version=gemini-2.5-flash@default is even for fine-tuned model ?

Hey, I have fine-tuned the model based on gemini-2.5-flash, but the response still shows model_version=gemini-2.5-flash@default. Is this normal?

Could you be more specific? How do you set the model? What response?

@XinyueZ — to dig into this we'd need a bit more info:

Which ADK version are you on?
What model string are you passing to the agent?
Are you seeing this in LlmResponse.model_version or somewhere else?

A small code snippet showing how you configure the agent would also help a lot.
That said, worth noting that model_version in the response is returned directly by the Gemini API and typically reflects the base model version — so gemini-2.5-flash@default for a fine-tuned model may actually be expected behavior on the API side.
