Not all video images are shown anymore

I noticed that some video images are not shown anymore in the menu, e.g. the image in imageUrl from here:
https://www.srf.ch/play/v3/api/srf/production/video?urn=urn%3Asrf%3Avideo%3Ab3a7d5e3-a120-4b7e-aad0-3bf61d8c1c6a
It is given as https://download-media.srf.ch/world/image/default/2025/02/imported-image-15676323207066033355
Other images from here seem to work fine, e.g. show -> imageUrl which is https://download-media.srf.ch/world/image/default/2024/10/SRF-WISSEN-Einstein-Webvisual-MASTER.jpg

I suspect it has to do that there is no file extension in the URL and Kodi might not be able to handle that, but it needs some investigation.
