darwin pkg: Failed to get app's bundle id

I have built the darwin pkg package. But when I'm trying to submit it to the App Store using Transporter, I get this error:

Failed to create the .itmsp for 'app.pkg'. Failed to get app's bundle id.

Is there any way to solve this?

Sorry no idea. I can only google so I can't do much more than you can

That's fine, seems like only packages built with xcode and productbuild (whatever that is) are acceptable.

Maybe there are other ways to distribute a hover app on App Store?

Hm it must be possible to do it without Xcode.

I'm not sure if that is the right tool to do it. Still you are free to open a PR and then we can see how it would integrate into hover.
