There are many things we could do going forward, the most important for now is feature parity with gbif.org. And then we can start to discuss improvements after that.

• missing map
• broken images should show nicer
• better at detecting manifest files? Or is it a data issue? http://localhost:3000/occurrence/4979367158#media
• iiif manifests, currently show as a semi-styled icon in the header. But for most users this is not informative. Perhaps it could show as a preview where we normally have images. Or as a minimim as a text that says "interactive image resource" or such.
• handle 100+ media scenario
• phylogeny tab need styling in style with theme. there has also been some issues in portal-feedback on styling and usability lately. E.g. option to open in new tab. example page /occurrence/4527469336
• phylo tree needs a loader
• issues and flags highlighted and all of then visible. Perhaps create a new section with explanations

• download record link to filter on just that id
• option for dense layout?
• layout cards closer to the new model conception?
• discuss with participants what they want?
• have customizable layout and highlight card

• consider a layout with smaller masonry style cards. And then button groups to filter which to show. Sort of like a toc. Could make a more dense view. two views? The issue with making it customizable is that server side rendering doesn't really work. At least requires more work with storing preference in header and making sure that caching works
