What happened?

Swipe controls (volume/brightness) shows on the same side of the finger.

Visual indicator should show on opposite side of the screen.

Example of swipe controls on other apps:

  • NewPipe
  • mpvKt
  • VLC

Not sure what you mean, the brightness slider is on left side of the screen and volume on right side when in full screen. Is this not how it is for you? Which device are you using on which android version?

That's the issue, brightness slider should show on the right side and volume on the left, like other apps, so is not obstructed by the finger using gestures.
