Error When First Installing Lazy

Good afternoon,

When using the structured setup, I get the following error the first time I run nvim (and everytime after that):

The git clone seems to work fine and shows up in the nvim folder.

My init.lua looks as follows:

Just can't seem to work out what i'm doing wrong, if anyone could shed any light on it i'd be really grateful, I installed lazy on my last machine with no issues at all.

You have a file structure like ~/.config/nvim/lua/lazy/whatever and you're doing require("lazy"). Either rename the lazy folder to something else or add an additional directory in the middle to act as another namespace such like ~/.config/nvim/lua/username/lazy/.

Thanks for your reply, I will try that, although my lazy directory is elsewhere, these are the tree views for my current install:

Then lazy is in .local/share/nvim

So where do I make the change please?

Put your lazy.lua file under the core directory and make the necessary adjustments in the require calls.

That has sorted it, all appears to be working, thank you so much for your help, it has been doing my head in for hours, you're a legend.
