How to get the value of opts of a plugin in another plugin?

I want to get the value of opts of a plugin, say clangd_extensions.nvim, so that I can setup it later, say in nvim-lspconfig.
After checking the source code of LazyVim, I know I could do it by

require("lazy.core.config").spec.plugins["clangd_extensions.nvim"].opts

or

local plugin = require("lazy.core.config").spec.plugins["clangd_extensions.nvim"]
require("lazy.core.plugin").values(plugin, "opts", false)

Is there a better high-level way to do the same thing?
