Helllo all,
I've been using this project for just over a year now and collecting consumption data for my e-208 on a reference trip (my wife going to the office).
Some background:
The trip is roughly 55 km (one way) on country main roads (80%) and some town (15%) and motorways (5%). The trip is not flat as it starts at ~400m, climbs to ~620 m and drops back down to ~200 m (obviously inverse on the way back !). The car is most of the time sleeping outside and pre-conditionning is used in the morning while the car is still plugged in and charging (so it does not show in the consumption data presented below). Most of the time, the car is in "normal" drive mode and the car is fitted with four seasons tyres.
And the results are as follows :
The temperature is in °C, the consumption in kWh/100km and the speed in km/h
The colors represent the average speed (when moving).
A you can see, the speed difference has a far lesser influance than the temperature. This is more obvious in the following graph:
This time, the color represents the temperature.
For those who wanted some form of demonstration of the influance on temperature on EV range ......
Two words of caution, however:
For those interested, this is done using @flobz psa_server 🥇 acting as a datasource feeding a Node-Red flow which does some calculations and stores the data into a MySQL database. The data is display through Grafana using a Plotty plugin.
I felt that I would share some information rather that report a bug 😉 !
Have a nice day and enjoy your EV !
