Not only are preview releases coming out, but the Java 8 release is the only one so far that supports the armhf (hardware floating-point) flavor of (Linux on?) ARM. Older releases support armel (software floating-point) and include Java 7 - they would also be useful.
Though this is heavy on the Raspberry Pi angle, this may also be highly useful to users of the BeagleBone, Cubieboard, and a lot of other ARM boards coming out now.
