Signal Desktop sometimes fails to export Debug Logs into a file as well as download files which aren't image files.

For me this always happens. A filedialog is shown, but immediately closed again. I've tried to give more file permissions and other privileges, but this does not help. It happens with files and also when trying to save the debug logs.

I don't think anything relevant is shown in the debug logging. But I get this in /var/log/syslog (Toxudo OS, an Ubuntu/Kubuntu fork).
