I'm not technically inclined to know how you get hevc vaapi working with amd, but iv been using it on obs-studio for videos for a long time now without any issues when encoding on linux, so im wondering why kdenlive doesnt have that option available? nvenc hevc is available on kdenlive and works great, so i would rlly like to see vaapi hevc support on amd gpu's so i dont need to encode with h.264 vaapi or needing to do cpu encoding which takes ages on something like vp9
Thanks!
