Alright, I’ll admit I am the least qualified person to talk about this. But as a mediocre white guy in tech on the internet, I’m going to share my experience.
I feel like anytime someone mentions physical stuff, a thousand folks chime in with recommendations, but I hope this is a least a little useful. When I started working out, I loved using a treadmill. It was indoors, so weather wasn't an issue, but the biggest selling point to me was watching TV while I exercised, and only watching a particular show on the treadmill.
When I started, it was Firefly, and obviously I got addicted to it and it helped motivate me to keep coming back.
I also had this resolve to just "move more" at the start of this year, but didn't know how. I ended up just walking more—if I have some place to be and it's near enough, I'll walk instead of riding a vehicle. And I also try to do long walks at least three days a week (oftentimes less because I get lazy). It does do wonders to me, I think.
Please Be More Physically Active
