Does create-react-app have a lean mode?

Right now it is still producing a source base of 350MB for a hello world, vs Vite about 40MB... does create-react-app have a slim mode which can make it smaller?

To put that into perspective, when I started my first job in the early 90's, my PC had a 200MB hard drive... I had to nag my manager many time so that finally he approved a purchase of a 130MB add on board for $350, so that my computer had 330MB total.
