Unable to install create-react-app, it shows babel error

I'm trying to install create-react-app using npx but I'm getting this error and I'm unable to figure out a fix, I've looked for it everywhere.

Installing packages. This might take a couple of minutes.
Installing react, react-dom, and react-scripts with cra-template...

npm ERR! code ETARGET
npm ERR! notarget No matching version found for @babel/plugin-transform-unicode-escapes@^7.16.7.
npm ERR! notarget In most cases you or one of your dependencies are requesting
npm ERR! notarget a package version that doesn't exist.
