Install react-scripts without eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y dependency

Hi,
When [email protected] package is installed, eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y is also installed.
Is there any way to install react-script without a11y package?

Why?
eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y has dependency on axe-core which has MPL-2.0 license, which is undesired.

I tried exporting DISABLE_ESLINT_PLUGIN variable before installing package, but did not work.

Any ideas?

I concur. CRA indirectly depending on a copyleft-licensed library can be an issue. It would be great if eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y was optional.

I'm glad it's not optional, it's a great and much needed linter. glad to see facebook take this step. create-next-app also has done this!!!

I'm not. It presents problems from a licensing perspective.
