Recently I've been looking at the "fail count" number after each SRS review session, which has been a very helpful indicator as to whether I should consider spending more time reviewing a failed kanji or even consider changing a saved story. As far as I'm aware, I'm only able to see this number on the main page, such as after completing an SRS review.

However, often when I am considering changing a story, I find that I happen to be reviewing a story for a kanji I am about to fail in SRS Review mode. A suggestion would be to add a feature to be able to see the fail count for a kanji in SRS Review upon clicking on the "Story" button. For the person reviewing a kanji, this would provide context as to the effectiveness of a given story in aiding kanji recollection. For instance, a low count could indicate a few things--the kanji is new or the presently saved story has been effective in remembering the kanji thus far, whereas a high fail count could indicate it may be time to consider changing the saved story.

I'm also curious to know if anyone else has found the fail count metric useful.
