Tips and Tricks

This page contains a number of tricks to make working with unreal easier.

Performance

  • Performance drops when I tab out of the UE4 game:

    In Editor Preferences/General/Miscellaneous/Performance is a flag "Use Less CPU when in Background". Disable this flag to get full performance all the time.
