TokenIgnores for AsciiDoc Cross References

Hello,

I'd like to ignore the cross reference anchors, but adding the following to my TokenIgnores doesn't have the desired effect:
(<<[^\s]+?>>).

The Token Ignore for xref: appears to be working correctly:
(xref:.*?\[)

Or is this considered bad practice?

Yes, sorry, should have included that in the original post.

When putting together the example, I've observed that the issue only occurs when the anchor and cross reference are split across different files.

If the anchor is defined in the same file as the reference, then vale doesn't report an error. E.g.

= Chapter

[#ecc_memsys_error_path]
== Subchapter

However, if the anchor and the reference are defined across two different files, vale reports an error. E.g.

= Chapter
