Default behavior of async client?

Im starting the async client with a couple of paras.
One is a default header.
Later I use use client.send with a custom httpx.Request object (due need of pickling).
User code may not define a header or anything else inside the Request object.
It looks like the the paras made at beginning wont be used when sending the request object.

I would await, that the client will use the paras when Request object does not bring something with it.
