PDFsharp can use JPEG files that have a JFIF header.
I do not see a JFIF header in your JPEG files. Do you have a specification for that file format?

I do not have a specification for the file format. I know that both files I submitted are recognized as valid JPEG files in every other application I tested with. We do currently have a workaround for the problem, though. We catch the exception, open and re-save the file using an imaging library, and retry. The JPEG created by the imaging library (ImageGear.NET) apparently uses a JFIF header. Thanks for looking into the issue. I'm sorry I don't have more information. If I discover more details about the particular JPEG format used for these files I will pass them along. Brent
