Description

Cannot invite to Space by email address

Bug report: element-hq/element-web#29505

This is likely a server bug, not a client bug.

Steps to reproduce

Login to Element.
Create new Space
Attempt to invite by typing in email address.

Homeserver

matrix.org

Relevant log output

Check the log I sent on the `element-web` bug report.

Anything else that would be useful to know?

All addresses fail
