Steps to reproduce

  1. Start video call to another element android client
  2. Element says, 'Call connecting'.
  3. Reboot phone
  4. Video call successfully connects

Outcome

What did you expect?

Call should connect the first time

What happened instead?

Call doesnt connect.

Just for some more background. The caller and callee are connected via VPN, and have a direct path for webrtc connection. As seen on the router a UDP connection is indeed established between the two clients. However, still the call does not connect.

On the selfhosted homeserver, a TURN server and https://test.voip.librepush.net/ shows that it functional. As the clients have a direct path between them TURN server shouldnt be needed.

Call between Element web and android shows that direct ip in 'about:webrtc'.

Is there any way to find debug webrtc messages using 'adb logcat'?
