After change icon the exe file become invalid

then it works good.

Change the icon :

rcedit test.exe --set-icon icon.ico

then execute the program again it will result an error:

Pkg: Error reading from file.

I'm also getting similar problem. In my case, the .exe drops from 30mb to 3.4mb after changing the icon.

I'm having a similar issue. Dropped from 33MB to 1MB. Using the latest x64 release. Attempting to add an icon to an executable created from warp-packer.

after setting the icon, the file size dropped a lot and cannot be run

I'm also seeing this when running rcedit on .exe applications that were built using pyinstaller.

The same thing happens to me if I change the icon of an executable created with deno compile or bun build --compile
