Missing unit test suite

What happened?

While packaging Sprout for Fedora Linux, it was discovered during review that Sprout doesn't have any Rust unit tests by @decathorpe. It would be great if there was a test suite that could be used to ensure the code is at least compiling correctly (abstract of the UEFI-y bits).
