Legend slot - is there such a thing?

A legend that renders as SVG is not enough for me: I need regular scrolling, I need advanced text formatting.
Now I want to do this by hand by creating an HTML legend and linking its events and properties to the events and properties of EChart.
I didn't find a legend slot in the description, but maybe I missed something?

Is there such a possibility now?

ECharts does not support built-in HTML legends. You can create your own outside the chart and position them so they appear inside the chart area.
