Hi George,
This is not as straightforward as it might seem, because what a Python script plots may have been manipulated (e.g. one GRIB file minus another, plus 25 times 17 or something), and by the time it's in the plot window, these details have been lost. There may be a way to improve it for simple cases where we just plot something unaltered, but we will need to look into it. Thank you for the suggestion!
Hi Iain,
When I use icons for constructing a map, I have the name of the grib on cursor data layer and also on Sidebar layers of uPlot.

But when I use python or macro, it just writes "PythonScript" .

Is there any way of showing the names of gribs or individual names on cursor data layer?
Thank you in advance
George
