Feature request: pre-commit integration

Please consider writing a .pre-commit-hooks.yaml as explained in the integration manual: https://pre-commit.com/#new-hooks .

I haven't yet written any pre-commit hook myself, that's why this is an issue and not PR.

Ha! I also didn't write a pre commit hook yet. Maybe, we ask the Copilot?

Let's :-D. Always wanted to learn writing custom pre-commit hooks, it just never was high enough in my priority list.

I'll let you know when I start, so we will not duplicate the effort.
