Hi there, are you the admin of the 4CAT server you're using? If so you can directly import the 4plebs dumps via a helper script: https://github.com/digitalmethodsinitiative/4cat/blob/master/helper-scripts/import_4plebs.py |

Hi!
I have been trying to use the 4plebs API, but for some reason all of my attempts have been failing. Does anyone know if you need a key for the 4plebs-API, or is there som other trick to it? (absolute noob here, so I have been trying out different strategies advised by Chat GPT).
Instead I opted to download the 4plebs data dump via archive.org, split the file into chunks of 100000, and imported one of the chunks to 4CAT. The data in the 4plebs-file are not organized with headers, so 4cat asks me to identify values of columns. The alternatives for the values given in the drop-meny seem to be generated based on the content of the first row of data in the file, so the data-values are very random. Does anyone else have this experience and know how to solve this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
