[Issue Report]: Freezing the screen when changing the resolution and switching the Fit to Screen option

Describe

Changing the resolution and switching the fit to screen parameter visually freezes the screen and you have to exit using Alt+F4 or by pressing escape repeatedly. If you wait for the Diablo/Hellfire screensaver to appear without doing anything in the menu, the settings will not behave this way.

To Reproduce

1. Launch DevilutionX 1.5.4
2. Go to Settings -> Graphics
3. Try changing the resolution or switching the Fit to Screen option

Expected Behavior

The screen should not freeze
