is this project still being maintained? why is this not part of the official alfred workflow gallery?

Yes, it's still maintained. It's invite-only to be listed there. From their website:

Sharing on the forum is a great way to get people to use your workflow and help you polish it by finding bugs and requesting features. Once a workflow is determined to be generally stable and trusted by a number of users, the Alfred team will invite you to submit it officially to the Alfred Gallery.

This means I'd need to create a forum post and then hope for an invite. However, if the forum post is just to proof some traction, I think this repo here already has some light indicators like GH stars and number of release downloads. I'm not sure I can prioritize creating a forum post at this point in time.

That being said, if the alfred team is lurking here, I'd really appreciate if this workflow was listed in the gallery 👍
