I have the same issue. images which were properly recognized yesterday - today I even cannot upload

it's really disappointing! deepseek is much better at pdf conversion to markdown than chat gpt! |

The screenshot, that the other guy posted has a reply from a fake account of deepseek, as far as I know, their true account on X is deepseek_ai, and it is the only true account maybe? the one posted in image has all bitcoin posts. |

It is annoying for me now haha, like I know it is free to use, but this makes the tool more unreliable than others; before this web search was broken, and it is still not fixed, I think it has been 4 days already with that, and now file upload, and it is also going to 2nd day. They should atleast keep the community updated. |

This issue is really annoying tbh. There are so many people out there who really need this to be fixed (like me). But ig it aleady is to good to be true, to have unlimited file uploads, so im not that mad about it. |

By the way, I found a official update log by deepseek, apparently they have implemented a solution, which they are monitoring currently, so I do not know, but maybe we can see it up and running by tomorrow? Here is the link for anyone who is interested:https://status.deepseek.com/ |

Swear down... If they simply kept their community updated it would be so much better. Deep seek is so much smarter, If they gave you the chance to pay some bucks for unlimited file attachments I'd inmediatily unsub from Gpt plus. No wonder it's giving the engineers at meta cardiac issues 🤣. |

In that case, the file upload feature should've been intentionally disabled with clear announcement, rather than letting it open but returns an error. Not a good UX in my opinion. |

Or-- or maybe, just maybe that little yellow textbox yeah, when you would login stating that "Due to large-scale malicious attacks on DeepSeek's services, registration may be busy. Please wait and try again. Registered users can log in normally. Thank you for your understanding and support." Maybe whoever is on the otherside of the malicious attacks coughOpenAIcough, found a network vulnerability and figured out how to deny any 3rd-party user uploads, just saying; Since I'm not the one bleeding 600 BILLION dollars, equivalent of every company from Mexico dissolving in a day, or McDonald’s, Disney, Uber and Target all going to 0 at the same time combined. And a dead whistleblower on my belt, just saying. |

Deepseek cleverly phased out attachments without a formal announcement. It appears they secured investment for their API and subsequently altered their user experience without transparency. A clearer announcement would have been appreciated. As for me, I've stopped using Deepseek due to its slow performance and attachment restrictions. |
No one knows. As of now, no one can say a thing certainly. It can very well be malicious attacks for file upload issues. do you have any sources? |
just checked, it is not phased out yet(maybe in future, but not yet). Only plausible explanation I am left with is malcious attacks on them. |

Deepseek really lagging in communication part, can't upload files. can't use reasoning more than once consecutively. |
