Does this support forwarding OTLP tracing data as well?

I couldn't find any information on this, but does the forwarder also support sending serilog tracing / OTLP data as well?

Hi @xantari; no, not currently. We have some ongoing work parked over in https://github.com/datalust/seqcli/tree/feature/forwarder which is aiming to cover this, hopefully we'll have a chance to pick that up again soon.

What is the status of this topic? And basically, is seq-forwarder still in development or is it a dead project?

Hi @feitzi! The reimplementation over in seqcli is still on our list and should see some progress eventually. We'll post updates to #75 when we move forward.

In the meantime, though Seq Forwarder is still maintained, it's unlikely new features like store-and-forward OTLP will be added here, unfortunately.
