Does anybody know of a way to avoid Windows restarting to apply updates during a training session?

Just screwed up my training today because of this. I thought windows wouldn't restart when the computer is busy like that, but apparently it did. I could understand if I delayed the update several days or something, but this was a brand new update from the same day.

Normally I remember to restart manually before training if I see an update pending, but is there a way to make sure it doesn't happen, in case I forget to do that?
