Just a couple more ideas, one being another configurable thing (again lmao) but possibly a bug? and the other being more of a visual enhancement:

  1. I mentioned about the grenade launcher and the flare gun having a reload cooldown and then it was said that the other guns had it, it was just quicker. I've seem to be able to shoot the weapon as soon as I've hit the R key to reload it so it's basically instantaneous. I don't know if it's intended to be instant so it may not be working with the other guns. Either way, maybe a configurable time for the reload cooldown for the guns too? With that, the mod would probably be the simplest (user side at least) but most customisable gun mod available for a variety of mod packs (like the 1800s Resource Pack I've made, could also be used to make flintlock weapons for a pirate themed integration also that could go in cyber's pirate one shot).

  2. Probably not entirely in scope but I think it'll give the guns more of an "umph" to them whenever you use them and that being visible recoil. I don't mean all the guns having their own recoil stat or one having more recoil than another or it being a thing to think about for balance, just a generic perspective up and then back down to original position that'll occur when shooting any of the guns and would be purely cosmetic. Could have a toggle in place in case people want to disable it.
