Bug description

This morning (2026-03-04) I received a notification that an update was pending to be updated, when opening it it shows a screen with no way to cancel and a progress bar saying it will update to Android 17 Beta 2. After some time another notification popped up saying that the update was applied and that the phone will be automatically restarted in 2 days

• I've checked device is officially supported and that no support is provided for unofficial devices (for device specific reports and not source related).
• I'm running latest version available on crdroid.net for this device and that the device is still maintainer supported (not flagged unsupported on download page)

I was looking through my phone for things tha tmight have caused it and I came across this, not sure if it has any importance.

Edit: The other person encountering this issue in the telegram channel for Pixel 9 mentioned they are not using any module, just the default PIF in CrDroid settings
