Roadmap to RISCV support #1931
Description
There has been a good amount of effort over in the Fedora RISCV SIG to get all Fedora RPM packages building in a shadow koji instance. With some tweaks here and there I was able to get Fedora CoreOS building over this past weekend.
Here are some existing gaps that I found:
- bootupd doesn't consider riscv - so we don't get any bootloader installed by default right now.
- COSA needs some conditionals added and also an OSBuild manifest created for riscv
- bootc images repo needs some conditionals in the manifest lists for riscv
- fedora-coreos-config needs some conditionals in the manifest lists for riscv
- kexec-tools RPM currently isn't building on riscv
Even when those gaps are closed we won't be able to offer an official stream until there are official builds in koji, but at least we can keep tabs on any regressions during that time.
