How to use config.yaml by default

Hello all,

I'm new to using Continue.dev CLI tool and was wondering if there was a way that I can force it to use my config.yaml by default? Right now each time I use cn it asks me to log-in, which I don't want to do, so I have to do cn --config ~/.continue/config.yaml.

I'm just wanting to know if there is a way that I can have it use the config.yaml by default so I don't have to type that out every time I want to use it.

You can use the /config slash command which will help select the default config. With that, just using the cn command will let the ~/.continue/config.yaml be loaded by default

Don't I still have to login to get to that point though? How do I bypass the initial login to get to the above option?

To bypass the initial login you can put a dummy anthropic api key such as sk-ant-123 which will create a local config.

Once created, you can edit the config to use your provider and model of choice.
