Packages Removal Request

Hello,

I'm author of the following packages:

• https://packagist.org/packages/phphd/exceptional-validation
• and https://packagist.org/packages/phphd/exception-handler

These were previously available by the following name (now being abandoned):

• https://packagist.org/packages/phphd/exceptional-validation-bundle
• and https://packagist.org/packages/phphd/exception-handler-bundle

So, after the renaming, I marked *-bundle packages as abandoned, and moved the projects to use the renamed version.

Is it possible to completely remove these packages (exceptional-validation-bundle, exception-handler-bundle) so that they won't be listed any longer? I'm quite sure that no-one else but me is using them.

@Seldaek the current rule prevents deleting a package entirely by a maintainer (rather than the Packagist admins) when a package has more than 1000 downloads in total. Should an extra criteria be added based on the recent downloads ? https://packagist.org/packages/phphd/exceptional-validation-bundle has 2172 downloads in total (so above that threshold), but it has 0 installs over the last 30 days (and even over the last 3 months).

@rela589n for the exception-handler-bundle package, you should be able to delete it from Packagist in a self-service way as it has only 654 installs.

The packages are gone but keeping this open until I can look at @stof 's suggestion in more detail..
