having trouble with changing immich media location

i am moving all my truenas docker apps to proxmox lxc and i am having some issues with immich
i already have a immich folder with data from a old instalation on truenas i mounted this to the lxc and have confirmed that the lxc has proper acces to this folder
so i changed immich_media_location to that folder in the config
and now i can connect to the immich ip:2283
i think its just me being a idiot and missing something but i and chatgpt cant figure it out so i am asking there for help
