Dispatcharr is an open-source powerhouse for managing IPTV streams and EPG data with elegance and control.
Born from necessity and built with passion, it started as a personal project by OkinawaBoss and evolved with contributions from legends like dekzter, SergeantPanda and Bucatini.

Think of Dispatcharr as the *arr family’s IPTV cousin — simple, smart, and designed for streamers who want reliability and flexibility.

@tremor021 yeah saw that when the script failed out LOL. Glad it's being worked on this just came up yesterday as a major option in the IPTV realm for M3U management and HD Home Run feed into Plex.

Also FWIW as you are working on it, there's an option for it to leverage HW Transcoding (like plex) so it could be worth ensuring that option is available although the user still has to add the ffmpeg settings into the app after the fact. Key is making sure the device resources are at least pass through.

Just realised there was some work on dispatcharr
I had forked from ProxmoxVE and so did not see this in ProxmoxVED
I had just dome some work on the debian_istall.sh script to fix a few problems and this is now in main
For PVEH I have the install working and have coded the update and just about to start testing
I am also updating it from Debian 12 to Debian 13
Also going to change some of the python/pip code to use setup_uv to make is simpler/more readable

I have sent a message to @MickLesk on the ProxmovVE Discord asking for the best way to get this going

Just noticed that in dispatcharr docker it uses /data/db for postgres instead of postgres default
Fixing that in my install now to match that for consistency with docker and then re-test
If ok then will create a PR for ProxmoxVED
