I do not see the need to make a LXC on Proxmox for it to be honest. For this to create Flight Data you need a ADS-B antenns, wich needs a unobsttucted sight to the sky (Adsb is a quasi-optical signal wich easily gets blocked by walls). So you would need to run a antenna cable from you Homeserver outside. |

While it’s true that you could run this on a Raspberry Pi, not everyone has one lying around, and availability has been hit or miss. Plus, it’s an extra piece of hardware to manage. As for the antenna cable, that’s not really a problem—it can be much thinner than Cat6 and easily run outside. In my case, I have a home lab and a background as an amateur pilot and radio enthusiast, but I’m still learning when it comes to setting up something like this. Since I’m exploring Proxmox and came across these easy-to-use scripts, I figured they’d be a great way to help both myself and others get started! |

This is better suited to run on a Raspberry then in a LXC.
