Generative video upscaling question.

I would love to upscale short mp4 clips by adding generative detail using the Comfyui desktop app on a Mac.
Clip info: 6 Second long, (32fps) resolution (500X900) MP4.
Topaz / Astra like results or close to it is the goal. I wish to be running it locally, Mac Studio Ultra, M2, 64GB Ram. When I used KSampler in my workflow, the issue was that I lacked temporal coherence, therefore all 32 frames were slightly differently generated, leading to an extreme flickering effect.
Using RealESRGAN_x4plus is fine, but it does not generate any new detail. GPT  lead me to believe that currently this is not possible on a Mac, only with Cuda / NVIDIA 
Any models that can generate new details for upscaling low res mp4 video file locally on a Mac with temporal coherence? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help!
