Kata ranking is doubtful after user solution is invalidated

Upon completing a Beta Kata I give it a Ranking (e.g. 8kyu because it was easy)

But then, later during the Beta process the Kata changes (e.g. lots more performance test cases added) and my original (naive) solution becomes invalidated.

Clearly since the Kata has changed, so its ranking probably is also affected. My original 8kyu ranking is no longer correct ... my out-of-date ranking is dragging it down.

Perhaps it would be better (during Beta) if a Kata change happens such that a user no longer has any valid solutions, then their previous Kata ranking should just be discarded.
