How is CodeSandBox handeling File Explorer write/delete on disk?

I have a small hobby project nothing related to CSB but I need to use monaco and I want the same effect, basically, what CSB does is showing me the project-structure in the file-explorer of my browser and I can even write and delete the file (cool) Is this mechanism a think CSB implemented and are there any open-source parts of CSB I could use if yes where are the parts for building a file-explorer that works with my underlying OS and lets me do everything from the browser like write delete?
